But What About...?

“Those graphic pictures?”

“The Pro-choice movement often treats with contempt the pro-lifer’s practice of holding up to our faces their disturbing graphics...(But) how can we charge that it is vile and repulsive for pro-lifers to brandish vile and repulsive images if the images are real?...to insist that truth is in poor taste is the very height of hypocrisy. Besides, if these images are often the facts of the matter, and if we then claim that it is offensive for pro-choice women to be confronted with them, then we are making the judgment that women are too inherently weak to face a truth about which they have to make a grave decision. This view is unworthy of feminism.” Feminist Naomi Wolf, New Republic

“Overpopulation?”

While there is sufficient evidence against the claim of “overpopulation,” for the sake of argument, let’s assume there is an overpopulation problem in the world. How would it follow that killing pre-born children is a proper course of action to solve overpopulation? Would a society be justified in killing all people over, say 65, to make more room for the millennials trying to live? It is immoral to propose killing innocent human beings to solve problems in the world. Womb babies deserve better. Check out www.overpopulationisamyth.com

“It's my body?”

It is misguided to believe that females or males have an exclusive right to do anything they want with their bodies. The laws of a civil society can and do restrict what we can do with our bodies when our actions harm another human being. And besides, a completely unique individual is living and growing safely inside a protected womb.

“Poverty?”

has always been a sad reality in society and with decades of legal abortion, poverty still exists for many reasons. Corrupt government and corrupt religions have played a major role in the existence of poverty. There is abundant opportunity to help those in poverty. Killing the children of those who are in poverty or might experience poverty is a barbaric suggestion.

“Men don’t have a say?”

Child sacrifice (abortion) is a human life issue, not a man/woman issue. Little girls AND boys are equally destroyed during an abortion procedure.
